The Reckless Chef

My name is Jenny.

I live in Chicago.

I’ve never been to culinary school. I’m in grad school for Software Engineering, which is kind of different.

I don’t like to use recipes if I can help it. If I use a recipe, I have to always change at least one thing because I hate following directions.

I take most of my food pictures in the middle of my kitchen floor. It has the best lighting.

When I’m not cooking, I play a lot of video games. Halo 3 was responsible for some really messed up cupcakes.

One day, I’d like to write a cookbook. Or have a cooking show. For now, I’m satisfied with this blahg.

Sometimes, I catch fire while I’m cooking. But I do make some very pretty food, and most of the time it tastes very good.
